Track Details

Duration: up to 3 hours

Difficulty: 2/5 (short length 2km one way)

Risk: 4/5 (some sections are slopy narrow trail by the cliff, traverse landslide area, sandy slippery uphill)

Distance: 4 km (2km x 2)

River crossing: none
 
This is a members’ only hike (non-members will have to first join MNS in order to participate). This is more of an exercise hike as the area does not have attractive natural beauty. The area is undergoing quarrying and development. Hence, the Pathfinders have decided to take a trip there before it is all gone.
 
The walk starts from the Sungai Long Hill Peak View Trailhead (Sungai Long is located in Selangor, near Bandar Mahkota Cheras). First, we head towards the Sungai Long Sea of Clouds viewing point. If we are lucky, we would see the sea of clouds from there. Then we proceed to the Turtle Rock. We head backwards to the trailhead thereafter.
 
We adopt Leave-No-Trace (LNT) principles in all our outdoor activities.
