On 1 February 2026, some members joined Pathfinders in a simple but beautiful hike to Bukit Permata in Gombak. We started at 6.45 am and reached the lookout point in time for the above group photo.

We could not recall where in one flat spacious lookout point (... you can picnic here) you can see such a complete KL skyline.
The 4 "Big Brothers" of KL are clearly seen.
We proceeded to visit the Tujuh Puteri Waterfall and had encountered interesting wildlife along the way - lizard, butterflies, birds, primates, etc. Specifically, we are able to take a photo of a Chestnut-naped Forktail with our handphone (unfortunately, the photo from our handphone camera is not so clear). There was also a very interesting sight of a bamboo forest.
