As the year-end is around the corner, we have decided to do an easy and fun recce hike to Bukit Ketumbar, specifically, to visit the 5 lookout points located around the mid-level of the hill. This is our first recce series that is open to the public: members and non-members too.
As it is a recce series, that would mean that us organizers have never been there before – and we may encounter inconveniences like blocked trail, dead-ends, overgrowth, etc. Participants join us to get a feel of our recce work and should not expect that there won’t be any inconveniences that we all have to bear.
For this trip, we have decided to make it very easy to join. There will be no registration; hence, no insurance coverage for MNS members. Just turn up and tag along … you are deemed to be joining on your own hike. As usual, the MNS Selangor Branch and the organizers are not responsible for your safety, etc.; the usual waiver of liability applies. The organizers will get your express consent on the waiver of liability at the start of the hike.
Nevertheless, do come for a year-end get-together, fellowship and fun in this urban hill. Bring some coffee and snacks for picnic.
