[REPORT] PF45u Bukit Jugra Peak & Lighthouse

The rain wasn’t about to stop when we are supposed to start at 8 a.m.; but 8 of us discussed and decided we will still go ahead with the hike but using a safer way. Here (group photo) we are at the lighthouse scenic area taking a group photo with our umbrellas down so that you can see the beauty of the grey sky at our background.

After taking in the beautiful view, we proceeded to hike uphill towards the peak. Along the way, we admired nature. We stumbled upon odd-looking ‘thorny’ seed, which we will have to consult Koon Hup (Flora SIG, what it is). Also seen flower we do not know as well as a baby pit viper that Jimmy helped us to check with Herp SIG.

Bukit Jugra is like the last standing primary forest hill in Banting area. We hope it will be preserved this way for the generations to come.

After the hike, some members proceed to the Sungai Langat Lookout point for another beautiful view.
