Looking for a workout that's both exhilarating and eco-friendly? Look no further than MARDI Research Forest, located in Serdang with the perfect launchpad for our activity at The Nest, for an unforgettable hiking cum workout experience at the exclusive forest!
This event presents a unique opportunity to explore one of Malaysia's most-maintained research forests. With a permit required for access, this event guarantees a peaceful and undisturbed trek through the forest.
Our hiking trail spans an impressive 10+ kilometers of trekking distance, with gentle and non-undulating paths that are suitable for hikers of all skill levels. Along the way, we also bring you to Tokwi Peak, a scenic but not high summit (!) that offers a panoramic view of the landscape below.
Part of the hike will be under the cool, refreshing canopy of the forest, providing a pleasant and comfortable experience; for the rest, a hat and shade are recommended.
But here's the best part: As a way of giving back to nature and conservation, the operator of access point will not levy MNS joining fees other than fee for permit application from MARDI. This means that you can enjoy an amazing outdoor experience while also supporting efforts to protect the environment and preserve the beauty of our natural world. However, Pathfinders are charging RM25 per pax and this is how the fee structure works - RM5 is for the permit while RM20 is a credit which can be utilised to offset another upcoming event associated with Leave No Trace (LNT) initiatives; and RM10 offset for non-LNT event.
